Prof. Kirchhoff grew up in the south of Munich and studied medicine at the Technical University of Munich. He is a board-certified specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery with additional qualifications in special trauma surgery, shoulder and elbow surgery, and arthroscopy. His career includes senior positions at Klinikum rechts der Isar and his appointment as Adjunct Professor at TUM. Alongside clinical work, he remains active in research, teaching, and scientific exchange.
